Zeeo is a financial technology platform and user interface, not a bank, cryptocurrency exchange, or asset custodian. Zeeo does not offer, hold, transmit, or take custody of funds, and does not provide custodial or regulated financial services. Your balance is held in digital dollars and euros in a self-custodial wallet that only you control, designed to hold a 1:1 value with the underlying currency. It is not a bank deposit, is not insured by the FDIC, and is not covered by any deposit guarantee or investor compensation scheme.
All wallet functionality is powered by Privy, a non-custodial infrastructure provider. Wallets and private keys are created and controlled exclusively by users through multi-party computation and are not accessible by Zeeo. Any payment-related services, including virtual accounts, currency conversion, and bank payouts, are provided solely by third-party licensed financial institutions and money transmitters under their own terms. Zeeo acts strictly as a technical interface and is not a party to any transaction executed on a blockchain network.
Digital assets carry inherent risk, including loss of value and permanent loss of access. Because your wallet is self-custodial, Zeeo cannot recover it, reverse a transaction, or restore access on your behalf.
