Why was my verification rejected?
Usually because the photo of your ID was unclear, the document was expired, or the details you entered don't match your ID. Identity checks are carried out by our licensed partner, Bridge, not by Zeeo.
Common reasons
- The photo of your ID was unclear: blurry, cropped, glare, or part of the document hidden
- The document was expired or not a government-issued ID
- Your details don't match your ID: the name or date of birth you entered is different from your document
- The selfie didn't match the photo on your ID, or the face scan couldn't be completed
- You live in a country we don't support yet. See Who can open a Zeeo account?
What you can do
- On the Home screen, tap ID verification rejected to try again.
- Use a valid, original ID (passport, driver's license or national ID card). Photograph it in good light with all four corners visible.
- Make sure your name and date of birth are exactly as they appear on your ID.
What we can't do
Zeeo support can't approve a verification, override our partner's decision, or share the details of a compliance review. We also can't promise that trying again will lead to approval.
If you believe the decision is wrong, contact us and we'll raise it with our partner. Please don't send ID photos by chat or email; only upload them in the app.
