Will Zeeo ever ask for my password or recovery phrase?

No. Zeeo will never ask for your sign-in codes, password or recovery phrase. Anyone who does is trying to scam you.

We will never ask for:

your sign-in codes
a password, recovery phrase or private key
remote access to your phone
a payment to "unlock" or "verify" your account

We only contact you from the app or from an @getzeeo.com email address. If someone asks for any of these, don't reply, and let us know.

How do I change my phone number?Go to Profile → Profile details. Next to your phone number, tap Change. Enter your new number and the code we text you.
How do I change my legal name or country of residence?You can't change these in the app. Once you're verified, your legal name, date of birth and country of residence are locked, because they must match your ID and the checks done by our partner.
Can I change my email or Zeeo Tag?Email: yes. Go to Profile → Security, tap your email under sign-in methods, then Change email. We'll send a code to your new address to confirm it.
I got a new phone. How do I sign in?Install Zeeo on your new phone and sign in the same way as before: with Apple, with Google, or with the code sent to your email. Your balance is tied to your account, not to your phone, so everything will be there.
I lost access to my emailIf you can still sign in another way, such as Apple or Google, sign in and change your email in Profile → Security.
Can Zeeo freeze or take my money?No. We can't move, freeze or take your balance. It's in a wallet only you control.
What happens to my money if Zeeo shuts down?Your money isn't on Zeeo's balance sheet. It sits in a wallet that belongs to you, so it isn't part of Zeeo's assets and can't be used to pay Zeeo's debts.
How do I close my account?Move your whole balance out first: send it to your bank or to another Zeeo user. Wait for any transfers or conversions in progress to finish. Go to Profile → Profile details → Close account, and confirm.
How do I contact support?The fastest way is the chat in the Zeeo app. Go to Profile → Help → Support and send us a message. Our team replies right there, usually within one business day, and your whole conversation stays in one place.
